Hi Peter,

Surely it's human nature to struggle to understand the world?  The
alternative to understanding is to say "it is that way because that's
the way it is", in which case we'd still be living in the trees, or
the oceans.  So it's only natural that we should try to understand
MMY, who is after all, an important part of our world.

Maybe someday someone will be able to explain him, in a way that
"makes sense", and all that contradictory material will fit right in
and won't be contradictory any more.  Maybe the the paradoxes of MMY
are like one of those things no-one can understand until Copernicus, 
Newton or Darwin, and after they've explained it, everyone else says
"Well that was obvious.  Why didn't I see that?".

If we ever do get a true story/understanding of MMY that "makes
sense", maybe it'll just be an interesting intellectual exercise, or
maybe it'll also help in our quest for enlightentment.  Here's
hoping...
