It's clear that apart from what Charlie has said that it's a common understanding that on the evolutionary path the genderless soul uses bodies of both male and female. It's no stretch to assume that shifting from one to another can be accompanied by desires from the previous gender. In any case, to consider it somehow evil and deserving of death when it happens is ridiculous. Apparently, [depending on the sources], around 2% to 7% of the population is gay - a substantial number of human beings.
