Like Newdawn said, let's just have a little higher standard of proof. But no, it's gotta be, "these true belivers are so duped, they just refuse, refuse I say, under any circumstances they refuse that M fucked around. Their insistence of a higher burden of proof has got to be plain outright denial on their part. I'm not saying that. I'm saying that after being a TB who for decades dismissed these same rumors as preposterous, I finally saw enough evidence that I changed my perspective. Some of that evidence consists of conversations I had with a couple of "the woman" but I have never been at liberty to divulge their full names or some of the details. So my credibility takes a hit, but that's the way it will have to be for now. I can't be absolutely certain that my perspective is true, and if it is true, I'm not sure what to conclude from it. On the whole, I'm very grateful to MMY for his impact on my life, and I still meditate regularly. Whether or not he slept with women has no bearing on that. But if he did, such behavior has interesting implications for the way the movement was/is run, the whole issue of the correlation or lack of it between higher states of consciousness and ethics, etc.
