I was a big fan of this show about a high school chemistry teacher who short on funds pairs up with an ex-student to make meth. Brian Cranston took an Emmy for best actor in a dramatic series and the series editor also won an Emmy. Well worth a watch and is on the AMC channel: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0903747/
