Two observations:

1) blind faith and bhakti are two very different things;

2) Nabby catches flack here because he is the TMO equivalent of a
fire-and-brimstone evangelical Christian. Maitreya or no Maitreya, this guy
rubs me the wrong way. I suspect many others feel the same way so will jump on
any opportunity to dump on him.

If we're waiting for some miracle to happen and putting all our energy and
hopes into it, there's a better alternative -- and a much greater potential
payout -- than hoping for the second coming of Maitreya (who I have no idea who
he is). And that's levitating. If we're going to waste our time and energy on
pie-in-the-sky impossibilities, levitation has more oomph for our dollar than
Maitreya.
