She was getting paid. Maybe. The YouTube clip below probably has nothing to do with the recent DLF concert. Then again, given Tina Fey's sense of humor and the fact that she's a New Yorker, the comedy sketch in this clip may just be a parody of that concert.
It's a scene from the latest episode of Tina's "30 Rock" series showing a mock telethon fundraiser called "Kidney Now." The plot is that Alec Baldwin's character finds his long-lost father, Milton Green. Jack is not a tissue match, so he extorts his friends in showbiz -- Sheryl Crow, Moby (sound familiar?), Elvis Costello, Mary J. Blige, Adam Levine, Rachael Yamagata, Rhett Miller, Norah Jones, Sarah Bareilles, Cindy Lauper and others -- to perform a song to help find Milton a kidney. It's a hoot.
