For evidence of this, one need look no further than Yahoo Message View. Everything one ever needed to know about any poster's consciousness and where their attention is fixated is there, creating a kind of snapshot of their level of evolution. I've found it useful to read FFL these days only from Message View, and click only on the posts that -- based on their first few words -- do *not* seem to be either slams against someone or an attempt to start/ prolong an argument. I am "giving attention" only to that which seems to deserve it. Does this mean that I'm still "On The Program" Maharishi-wise after all? How embarrassing. :-)
