If consciousness really is the substrate of
creation and can influence the physical world,
an increase in the effectiveness of the placebo
effect may indicate a rise in collective consciousness.
What people hold in consciousness is more likely to
show up in their lives.

If I'm interpreting that evidence correctly - that
people's thoughts and feelings are having more of
an influence in their lives - I have to wonder, do
all thoughts and feelings have equal influence? For
example, would thoughts and feelings of self-loathing
promote illness just as powerfully as the placebo
effect promotes relief from symptoms? Dunno.
