Sorry to burst your bubble, Rick, but floods and storms have happened to this planet since recorded history started. A interesting parallele to this is the phenomenon of beached whales. Now, when whales beach themselves environmentalists automatically assume it is due to some human cause or pollutant they are putting in the seas. And it very well may be. BUT: whales have been beaching themselves since recorded history started and there were no PCPs to dump into the ocean until about 75 years ago.
