I have an official piece of paper from the Spanish medical authorities -- with an official government seal and everything -- certifying that I am perfectly sane. I needed such a paper to get a long stay visa. True, the guy who wrote it for me and signed and sealed it had known me for all of five minutes, but it *is* official. :-)
