If it has a good non-union film industry he might just take them up on it. He thinks Hollywood has "too many rules." And I agree with him. But somebody has to tell him and I suspect a few of his film making buddies who have practiced other techniques may have broached the subject (and for all we know become persona non grata to Lynch for doing so) that there are a lot of useful meditation techniques. And ones you don't have to spend a lot of money to learn. My budget is a little too tight to keep throwing money at HBO when Dexter is coming up on Showitme (hopefully for another $6-7 a month promo price) but I would be interested in seeing what Mike White does with his series "Enlightened" which will star Laura Dern. Unless of course White is also a meditation neophyte who only knows TM. OTOH, the whole multichannel thing is in decline for the first time in the US and perhaps even HBO might consider streaming episodes on Amazon or some streaming service.
