It would be nice, but I seriously doubt that anyone
even bootlegged it. It was sometime in '66 or '67,
in L.A., and it wasn't announced as a duo concert.
Clapton just happened to be in town, came to the show,
and was standing off to the left of the stage, just
watching Zappa and the boys. Zappa saw him, motioned
him up onstage, and took off his guitar and handed it
to him, all in mid-song. Clapton picked up where
Zappa had left off, and Frank went backstage to find
another guitar. He did, returned with it, and they
jammed for a while.

Great evening. At the time, the Mothers constituted
the heaviest rhythm section in rock 'n roll. There
was Ian Underwood on piano, two drummers, a third guy
playing tympani, and a knockout bass player (plus the
horn players and Zappa). Because this was post-Yard-
birds, pre-Cream, this may possibly been the heaviest
set of musicians he'd ever gotten to play with at
that point.
