I don't know how "tech" you are but you can get LP to MP3 turntables at Fry's or Best Buy that are reasonably priced (under $100). I've been thinking about getting one for years to convert what few LPs (some rare) around here. All you do is plug the USB plug from the turntable into the computer and install the software and you're ready to go. Of course don't forget to plug the turntable AC or adapter into the wall if it needs it (there may be some that can run of the 5V on the USB). My neighbor is having another one of their garage sales today. I asked her "where do you get this stuff? Do you grow it?" They have them twice a year. They've invited me to bring some of my stuff over but they never give me enough advance warning. And I don't want to sit around all day to run a sale myself. My neighbors also have a condo share in Florida and are missing that weather since California is unusually cold these days. My phone weather widget shows snowflakes some mornings.
