Ravi,

You fail to understand the significance of the family unit in society from all
cultures. History has shown that marriage and the family are the bases for
continuing humanity, culture and society.

The breakdown of the family unit greatly contributes to instability in society
which can be seen in low educational achievements among young people, drug
addictions, crimes of all sorts, and poverty.

The leaders of communism tried to change the family unit into a communal
endeavor. Spiritual leaders like Osho have attempted to do likewise. However,
their experiments failed miserably. For this reason, the once mighty USSR
disintegrated. And, Osho was banished from the USA and died as another false
prophet in the history of the world.
