Subject: [FairfieldLife] "Carnage": FFL as a movie

"Carnage" is Roman Polanski's film version of a popular play by Yasmina
Reza. It's about two pairs of parents who hold a cordial meeting after
their sons get involved in a fight. It's a comedy about manners and how
the evening devolves into chaos. It stars Jodie Foster, Kate Winslet,
John C. Reilly and Christopher Waltz. It couldn't help remind me of
FFL. :-D

Available now for rent on Bluray and DVD. Streaming on Vudu.com,
YouTube movies, etc.

Saw it last night. I liked it. It was interesting to see how being trapped
in one's individuality causes so many problems. Another way of putting it
is, how hard you have to work to maintain the ego structure, and how
conflict helps accomplish that. That, of course, is very germane to FFL.
Great acting.
