I assume others do - especially if they think about things like this! But I don't ascribe it to inanimate matter as it doesn't need it, in fact it gets along fine without it so I prefer not to elaborate it's already wondrous immensity. As the late great Douglas Adams put it: It's enough for me to know that a garden is beautiful without thinking there are fairies at the bottom of it as well.
