No, Barry, the 'West Nile Virus' didn't come over from Egypt! Do you even know where the West Nile is located? LoL! Apparently West Nile virus is one of the Japanese encephalitis antigenic serocomplex of viruses, in the family Flaviviridae, the same virus that probably killed Alexander the Great. I mean, if it could take Alexander down, anyone could get it, right? >From what I've read, there have been no known cases of direct canine-human transmission. You're just getting paranoid. Your dogs won't show any signs of the infection. Which is not to say that your pet can't become infected. But it would be a cause of alarm if it were to be determined that your dog was *infecting the mosquitos* - we know you've got to put up with a lot of flea problems over there. Just pray you get a good freeze this winter. LoL!
