Maybe so, but I've tried both and found them to be very
similar - both practices are based on thinking, and then
going beyond thought.

Apparently I'm the only respondent here that has actually
completed a course in Buddhist Mindfullness training.
You can correct me if I am wrong about this. Go figure.
