Are you positive you're aware of all the aspects of your life that are important? (Either to you personally, or in the cosmic scheme of things?) > For others it may be different. I'm reminded of the joke about the guy who calls on God to rescue him from drowning and then waves off the helicopter that suddenly appears and offers to haul him up. Obviously you don't perceive yourself to be in a desperate situation from which you need to be saved, but I wonder whether the same principle might apply. I could conceive of a scenario in which Tom was equivalent to the helicopter, sent by Mother Divine to suggest the possibility of your deriving some benefit from yagyas that She is aware of but you aren't. (I'm really not promoting yagyas, just probing your reasoning in rejecting them. No need to respond if you don't want to.) ------------------------ Yahoo!
