There may not be enough money for the Russians to conduct a war since 
most of the oil and gas money comes from shipping through the Ukraine to 
Europe. I'd say that it's more likely that the IMF will be bailing out 
both Eastern and Western Ukraine, if not Russia itself. Without the 
infrastructure and the fracking technology, the whole region is going to 
run out of energy within a year. That's what I predict.
