BINGO ! The Turq-fellow is a quitter and a spiritual loser lost in stuff that happened more than 40 - FORTY - years ago. The more he goes on and on about the past the more it becomes obvious that a) the poor soul never moved on as he claimed, b) his "Buddhism" has no effect in healing his wounded soul and c) he is in need of professional help, as several others also have suggested.

You have no knowledge, or authority. Therefore, your challenges to the TM path are just empty speculation. You have no idea why seeing other teachers is not a good idea, or a good idea - you are just yapping - making up ignorant nonsense, as usual, to point the finger elsewhere. I would be doing TM twice a day, if I were you. ---In FairfieldLife@yahoogroups.com, <turquoiseb@...> wrote : From: "LEnglish5@... This is a lie, Lawson. The "You can't see other spiritual teachers and still be allowed to go on TM courses" thang has been present since long before there *were* any domes. It was drummed into TM teachers on their TTC courses, and was true even of everyday meditators as far back as the mid-70s. There's also issues concerning practicing other techniques while learning the TM-SIdhis. Try to come up with a rational reason WHY this should be true if the TMSP's claims of "invincibility" were actually true. We'll wait. And of course, for TM teachers to be dabbling in other practices while marketing TM as best is a bit contradictory as well. Again, WHY? Could it possibly be because it might suggest that the Maharishi dogma "TM is all you need" was NEVER true? Heck, anyone can tell it wasn't ever true just by looking at the list of "extra cost add-on products" that the TMO markets to TMers. It's truly amazing that people don't get these rather obvious explanations for what is going on. It's more amazing that you try to pass them off to former TM teachers, the very people who taught you to parrot them. L From: "steve.sundur@... I mean, I know you have a minor orgasm when you come upon some new example. I left before the Robin Carlson period, but I imagine he created quite a challenge to the existing structure. So, I am not surprised that the powers that be felt alarmed. Can you imagine a similar thing happening with any other teacher? Name one. Name any. How would it have played out? What about Rama if someone emerged to present a significant challenge? On the other hand, the separation of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar was, by all appearances, an amicable parting. So how do you explain that. ---In FairfieldLife@yahoogroups.com, <no_re...@yahoogroups.com> wrote : How to tell if you're in a cult #75 Seems rather fragile this invincibility, eh?
