But, when I was discussing Purusha with someone on Purusha, they said that the TM organization encouraged people to find sponsors to keep them in the program. Even if they were wealthy, they were encouraged to spend other people's money, not their own.
So, people who really wanted to be around MMY but didn't have sponsors got kicked out once their own money ran out. Just another perspective on the situation...
