Yeah, I mean it doesn't get much simpler than a love song or singing the blues

Austin is in a band. Go figure

C: Hanging out in Austin with your wife in a band. Completely awesome Richard,
life is good.

I can't believe I have known you this long and never knew this about you. I
blame that on the Hindus.

Having said that, Curtis, you suck as busker! I wish I could sing and play.

C: Well you are probably right. I've been at it for 20 years now and every
year I say to myself :"this will be the year I suck less!"

With your love of music it would not be hard for you to pick up a guitar and
get on Youtube for some free lessons. You can't discount the amount of musical
knowledge you have gained through years of listening. Now you just need the
athletic ability to match what you have inside with what is on the instrument.
Not such a big jump really.

Plus you seem to be attracted to the type of music that is relatively easy to
pick up to an enjoyable level, blues rock. Like Keith Richards said, "to play
this kind of music all you need is three chords, two fingers and one asshole."
 So we are all overqualified!

J: Poor Share thinks his post is all about defending her. It's not. It's about
attacking the folks Curtis
 doesn't like.

C: I have had friendly conversations with everyone involved in this discussion
at one time or another. Sorry to contradict your simplistic reductionist
narrative. I do not like their behavior toward Share and my posts expressed
that opinion. >
 That's what I'm saying!

And, that's why I've been objecting to - the bullying going on here against
Share. It reminded me of the Mean Girls movie. Hardly anybody knows any of the
informants posting here and that's what is weird - at first I thought these
people knew each other and that's the reason for the personal animosity. But,
Emily apparently has never even been to Fairfield, and neither has Judy. Ann,
not so bad, but very nit-picky sometimes.

But Share's treatment here pales in comparison to some of the other
ankle-biting and nit-picking I've seen on FFL. It's one thing to poke fun at
each other, but it's a whole other thing to let hatred come through in a
newsgroup message. I don't really give a shit what any of you think. That's
what I think. Seriously. It's all how you play the game.

One of the worst offenders is Judy Stein. While many of her messages are
spot-on, often she seems to sink down into the lowest depths of outright
meanness. It's not healthy to be that obsessed. She seems able to clown herself
sometimes too. It's almost like a gang on a school playground. This isn't the
first time somebody has been attacked on this forum for no good reason.

I'm used to being ridiculed - I've even come to appreciate it - and so
apparently does Barry. What Share does not probably realize is that getting
ankle-bitten on FFL is a badge of honor - when that happens, it reveals more
about the poster than it does the recipient.

Having said that, Curtis, you suck as busker! I wish I could sing and play.

Seriously: I give people a LOT of credit for just being nerdy enough to log on
to this site. I've got tough skin - frankly, I don't give a damn what anybody
posts here. All I'm interested in is what I post. Nobody should take anything I
post seriously. Don't feed it, thanks everybody.
