Spelling issues aside, I wonder where Michael thinks the money for the funding for the Invincible America course came from if not from wealthy patrons of the TMO. The Settles put $100 million into the 10 year project. They no longer provide the same level fo support, but then again, the desire for TM in South America seems a LOT more solid, and in fact, SOMEBODY is funding TM there to the tune of 30,000 students learning TM in Peru, alone World-wide, the DLF says that they have trained 500,000 students TM for free. At roughly $300 per student paid to the TM teacher, leaving aside any extra that goes to the TM organization, that's $300 x 0.5 million, or $150,000.000. That money had to come from someone and it definitely wasn't from the kids themselves -not in Peru. And you are full of baloney Please, let's have a little decorum here and spell it "bologna". Buck - the TMO has more than enough money to fund such a group and if you TM True Believers on the ground really believed this shit you would organize your OWN grass roots efforts and create your OWN flying group to "save the world" - go ahead, put your money and time where your mouth is - don't wait for the Movement to suddenly be successful in doing something they have not done in nearly 40 years of group TMSP, do it yourself. The science already shows this works. I must've missed that, all I ever see from them is vague, unconvincing, statistical hopefulness without any sort of easily understood underlying explanation. A larger problem in this is that the movement can no longer raise the kind of money and the kind of numbers of meditators to do large-scale projects like that anymore. I thought they had many thousands in central America and Eastern Europe, hundreds of thousands in India and then there's the yagya programme, surely we are there by now? Like what Sparaig laid out recently about the challenge of the point of replication of the science already well published. IF you had an ounce of sense and could understand the implication of the science you'd be trying to figure out how to make meditation happen instead of sabotaging and backstabbing quite an effective peace initiative the way you are. I can't speak for MJ but it seems that TM is undergoing a renaissance these days with desperate calls for more teachers to be trained. And the thing about science is it doesn't need people to believe its explanations, the ME works or it doesn't, it won't be affected by one man disagreeing with it on an obscure backwater of the Yahoo groups page... My thoughts are that if the research was any good they wouldn't have to do it again. Certainly a large problem also for real solutions is the vile privateer-ing neganauts like you trolling the high-seas of the internet as its own cult laying waste to all hope. Your invincibility must be exceptionally fragile. Much more meditation and much more group meditating is certainly the way forward in such a violent world. Q.E.D., -Buck mjackson74 rants: You may take note that the Movement will NEVER take the challenge - because they know it won't work, they aren't willing to pay for it and since it won't work it would prove they have been lying for decades and would erode their money machine - something they can't afford to do.
