Personally, I would rather not survive anything resembling an apocalypse, and most certainly not in a bunker full of survivalist types. Perhaps, if I had children, I'd feel differently; my dad always made it clear he did not want to be kept alive with machines and whatnot. But, several years ago, when nature provided him with a ticket out of here, he opted to to get the pacemaker so that he could spend more time with his kids.
