Russell Brand's "Messiah Complex" is even beating out "House of Cards" for popularity on Netflix. So you aren't the only one. Plus I haven't even dragged myself watch the first episode. Think the problem is that Americans *are *sick of politics.

*BUT, *I did watch a neat little Hollywood indie film called "The Scribbler" available on Netflix. It's a sci-fi fantasy starring Katie Cassidy, Garret Dillahunt, Michelle Trachenberg, Eliza Dushku, Michael Imperioli and Billy Campbell. Directed by John Suits, it's a story about a young woman who uses an experimental treatment called the Siamese Burn to remove her multiple personalities. Dark and rated "Not for Buck".

*/They allowed it to devolve into a soap opera set in the ickiness of American politics. But the problem was that there weren't any characters worth caring about, so that the only impression left after each episode was the ickiness.

*/Almost the saddest part was realizing at the end that they'd set things up for a fourth season. I'll be skipping it. '/*

*/The actual saddest part was realizing that the real-life version of this is about to start again, and will be filling the airwaves with real-life ickiness until the end of 2016. I wish I could skip that, too.
