also undermining our President’s capacity to deal with foreign governments and

years of political involvement, I don’t remember any act by a major party that 
comes as close as the Republicans' recent actions to what might be called

that it seems to be based on an impossibility -- their party winning the 2016 
election. That simply can't happen. They don't have any "candidates" whom most 
of the voters consider *sane*, much less Presidential material.
