It is a total waste of time, for which I am guilty. I agree that Barry was likely never upset when he posted. I beg to differ with both of you. He was often incoherent with rage and completely out of control when he posted after someone had dissected one of his posts. You could count on it: he would very rarely respond directly to criticism, but a day or so later, he'd come out with one of his long posts attacking the critic on whatever grounds he could dream up. All his bluster about folks being attached to the self was projection; he was as attached as anybody and much more attached than some.
