I have had quite a few flying dreams, although not recently and not after
drinking beer. I recall the dreams as being intensely real, with a miraculous
feeling of being able to float and move around at will (no pillow needed). This
was at a time when I was practicing the TM flying sidhi, and I remember once
thinking during the dream that here I was finally doing it—I was flying and it
was real! When I woke up the dream was still vivid in my mind but quickly faded
and the gradually dawning realization that it was "only a dream" took hold.
Such a moment of disappointment!

A few minutes before the alarm clock rang this morning, I was dreaming of a
cartoon character who was talking on a TV screen. Then, I felt myself being
led into a lounge where people were having conversations. I felt like I was
riding on my pillow. As I slid around the lounge, I saw other people who were
flying high above me. So, I too wanted to fly like they do.

By focusing on it, I was able to get as high as they and found myself looking
at a window near the roof. I looked outside and found that the lounge itself
was flying in space and there were other lounges flying outside. So, I
continued to fly around the lounge above the other people who were still
sitting on the sofa chatting. I wondered if they too can fly.

When I awoke, I wondered what caused this dream? It was probably due to the
beer I drank before going to sleep. It was Sierra Nevada IPA, with a Torpedo
label.
