'Don't need to meditate', yup that is an aspect of popular neo advaita POV
perpetuated by some. But something which the long arc of Rick's BATGAP
interviews by experience is showing is that with the spiritually awakened there
is more inside and good reason by experience to keep meditating in cultivating
the birthright of a human spiritual system while on earth.

Or, as Karunamayi says about this, “..Even the Enlightened continue to
meditate”. Is a lot of true in that as transcendentalism by experience. It
evidently begins with awakening to what is inside and then becoming familiar
with the reach of that in meditation by experience with it. If nothing else the
science is showing that meditation is good for the health of the system
[physiology], good reason to be a 'strong' regular meditator, and to keep
practicing meditation regularly. Could be good even for Advaitians to meditate
some with an effective transcending meditation if only for their good health.

Once you're "established" in yoga then you perform action. That means you
might not need to meditate regularly anymore. The transcendent is with you all
the time. Usually it does not take many years to get there if you have the
right technique.

Geezer asks: And what, exactly are "serious meditators"?

Dear Geez, It seems like with other things you know serious meditators when
you see [sit with] them. SRF/Yogananda meditators it seems are well cultivated
as serious practicing silent meditators. They are gathering for their annual
'convocation' this month in the LA area. They gather 5,000 or so meditators
for their group meditations during convocation. In Fairfield we will have a
few hundreds meditating together in the Domes. -JaiGuruYou

An old TM'er and no longer allowed in the TM group meditations? Joining in the
group dynamic of consciousness, the SRF silent group meditations are open for
meditators likewise.
