In Fairfield Life, I went to the Founder's Day meeting on Saturday night. Tony Nader's particular talk itself was really a great teaching of modern transcendentalism. Drew a lot on language-ing of TM and Maharishi in the 1960's and '70's and not so much 'vedic' per se but contemporary too. Just listening and not watching the gold hat the talk was a good lecture for all meditators. “Regardless of culture everyone of us is Divine ..as a birthright, not a belief..” Staging, a current hierarchy of the movement was arrayed seated on a full stage. Tony and some important Raja with their gold crowns and gowns. The gold hats and their gowns seem an ego thing that can't be let go. Tony in gold hat seated on a dais in the middle that looked like a red throne. Pundits seated in stage center. Some few hundred people in the Dome. Mostly campus community and Vedic City people. Quite evidently an older demographic and a very few students. Apparently the incoming freshman class at MUM is 58. Last
