A couple things -- I was told "sidha" means perfected being. Why can't a
perfected being find 25 bucks a day to fulfill a desire? Also, we are going for
peace in the Middle East. If the thoughts are not powerful enough to sustain
someone in getting there, why would they be any more effective wrt the main
objective?
PS Maharishi's quote has to do with the natural tendency of the mind to support
good, not that this must be publicly demonstrated. Here is a quote of his, wrt
the power of thought itself, "Do nothing, accomplish everything".

That is incredibly cheap. It would seem thatsome of the old meditator retirees
here who are quite able to go on cruises andfancy bicycle trips to exotic
places could support this.
Particularly the awake ones.

In meditating here folks practically take what is essential and useful for
themselves from the collective meditation as practitioners and maybe do help
the collective effect by being there too. Despite the aversions of the
movement the meditating group as a collective meditation is a nice activated
place to meditate.

Fear is an odd energy in the program. The movement made liars of the TM

Has Bevan had his meditation checked lately? It is all too easy after
meditating awhile and opening up a rich inner space, to spend TM time
daydreaming and moving around laterally, without allowing the innocent
repetition of the mantra to continue cleaning out the barriers to awakening. He

This is a whole another level of activism (order of magnitude) from some
anti-war protesting like shouting “Hell no We won’t Go! and burning draft cards
that we may have done back in the 60’s. This is modern social direct action,
going up towards the front lines and meditating. Look at the map on the site.
