I've never picked up a gun in my life, let alone shot one. Nevertheless, everything you say above can and does apply to any of God's creatures: lamb, cow, pig, etc. That's why I believe it is WAY more cowardly for meat-eaters who do NOT hunt yet go to the Supermarket and get their flesh all hermetically wrapped, butchered and devoid of any "reality" of the kill. Plus, the store-bought animals had no life to speak of: raised like cattle (no pun intended) on factory farms. At least with wild game, the animals were wild and free until the moment they were shot. Yes, ideally, we should all be vegetarians; but until that day comes, I say the hunter has 100X better karma than the store-buying meat-eater.
