Well, there is a certain point here: if the text wasn't released before the 
speech, than it was 
a major gaffe that he can only defend with after-the-fact press releases. If 
the text WAS 
released before the speech, he can claim, beyond any challange, that he 
definitely didn't 
mean to say those remarks.
