************ Al Gore did learn TM, but he was not instructed by Mike Love (who ususually did initiations of famous people, so that the TM teacher was not overwhelmed by the celebrity of the initiate, and was less likely to run off at the mouth about having instructed celebrity X, who usually was less famous than Mike anyway) -- a TM teacher from Tennessee initiated Gore -- she was at MIU for a while, don't recall her name.
