The NeoCons must love the Virginia Tech gunman. He took the nations attention off them and their criminal activities just when things were really heating up. And today we have head NeoCon President Chunklenuts declaring that flags be flown at half-mast and making a big emotional issue out of the tragedy because that plays well with the American stupid. Nothing like showing that Uncle Dick and his band of marauders are on your side.
Let's see how many people get killed a day in traffic accidents in the US? 500? And someone here already mentioned that over 150K die daily in the world. Myself? I paid little attention to it. Just another event that talking heads will ramble on about and idiots will talk about the need for more laws. Don't we have too many already? We certainly need an enlightened course of action but I don't think bun hopping on foam is the way to do it. It might make for a little more pleasant atmosphere around the burg of Fairfield but not much else. We need cheap good meditation programs for the masses who WANT to learn it (IOW I'm not for ramming it down everyone's throat). That would probably go much farther in producing a peaceful world (though we still may well need to be on our guard for marauding aliens from other planets which will probably show up about the time everyone is sure they don't exist). So tell the NeoCons "enough already and let's find those Karl Rove emails!"
