just heard they are hoping to buy the land used previously for US base, in Berlin. But Berlin is not "central" Germany, surely... I suppose there would be no point having a Central University in Siberia somewhere, for Russia either. But then the whole concept of "centrality" is somehow flawed then..
Don't see how all these universities around the world are going to find students either. Years ago they tried to start a uni in the UK but it was a flop.. Universities are costly things to set up - libraries, halls of residence, laboratories, academic staff salaries etc. You need all that BEFORE students can be confident enough to invest their own resources in this institution instead of somewhere else.. Maybe MMY hopes something SOMEWHERE will work out at the cost of many failures and that this is good enough for him?
