As it is we have *a lot* of clients running 4.0 and friendly > URLs without the problems you describe. I understand. Okay, basically, this is what you do... it's simple. I build the site with Quick Site Builder. Everything works great. URLs aren't friendly, but that's okay, the site works. Rebuild Friendly URLs. At this point, everything breaks and the only way to get it back is to delete the whole site tree, recreate it, and DON'T rebuild the URLs. If you like, I can email you off-list with access info for the site so you can see it. I can even reset it so you can step through it yourself and watch it fail. I also thought that if I can't fix this, I will delete the tree, recreate it, then go into the code and simply comment out the menu items to rebuild the URLs and leave them be til a better fix is available. We don't need friendly URLs at this time. Thanks!
