Theoretically it should be unlimited (although I have only gone about 10 levels deep (on some very large sites)). I have done this in FarCry 2.1 - 4.0.x and have not had any issues. So what exactly are you doing thats stopping you from going any deeper than 2 levels? (don't forget to note the FarCry version, DB, and browser in case any of those are a factor in a possible bug).
