Are you editing your content type permission in the Content Type Security
step of the role? The checkbox you're talking about is set by the upgrade
process to flag that those permissions aren't used by FarCry anymore. Once
a developer is happy that the upgrade is complete and working, they can use
that flag to delete the records from the database.
