Hi,

I happened to check the new IRNA site (www.irna.com) and noticed that they are using Unicode, which is a step forward for them. But I also noticed they are using Arabic Letter Yeh or Arabic Letter Alef Maqsura instead of Farsi Yeh. Can we do something about it? It is very bad that, although the corrected versions of Tahoma and other fonts exist, so many sites are using wrong characters. It certainly affects the search engines. Other sites like www.bbc.co.uk/persian and http://persian.usinfo.state.gov/ also use the same technique which is not good.

Best
