My T42 laptop works great with its radeon mobility chip. Two things: I have acpi_serialize as a kernel arg in grub, and I have radeonfb uncommented in /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist. Also I have options radeonfb radeon_force_sleep=1 in /etc/modprob.conf. Suspend and hibernate work great. -- Jesse Keating Release Engineer: Fedora
