Also, I notice that there are some SELinux AVCs generated during suspend. Seem to be affecting 'vbetool'. I 'retried' suspending in Permissive mode, and seemed to get further: my monitor now is indicating that it is getting a signal, but the screen is still black. Also, I think I can 'hear' more disk activity. I'll log the SELinux messages to the selinux list. More I can test? tom -- Tom London
