Doing yum update texlive\* resulted in dep. problems with (x)dvipdfmx, dvipng (requires libkpathsea.so.4) -- you're probably missing obsoletes in texlive-dvipdfmx and texlive-dvipng. After I removed them (along with xetex, which I tried once, but went back to "just" tex), the update progressed smoothly, haven't tried runtime yet (though, seeing that your repo has 5000+ packages and the yum updated installed/updated only 85, I suspect I'll be missing some fonts I use).
