Toowoomba! My home town. May I proudly note we made it into one of Ray's
books though I think he called the town Toowamba, but rightly placed us not
far from Taroom, Jandowae and Injune. OK this might have been a coincidence,
but it was close enough to fame for me. All of these towns are in Queensland
and are quite close together - within about 450kms of each other, so maybe
it wasn't a coincidence.

I was wondering who else lives in a town that has a sister town somewhere in
Midkemia or Kelewan?

I sat in a hotel (pub for you Brits, bar for you Yanks) in Toowoomba next to
a retired ALF (back when it was the VFL) having him explain the rules.
Pretty much if you don't mug the guy the "contact" is "incidental." He kept
saying, "He could have called that, but instead he called 'play on!'"
