I know the discussion on book sizes has been done to death. But why on earth
don't publishers realise that most readers want to purchase books that are part
of a series/realm/saga etc. that are all the same size and the same cover
style. I think I have 6 different sizes of book and 4 different cover styles
across the Riftwar Cycle books that I started collecting 12ish years ago. And
as you can imagine lining them up side by side in published order in silhouette
look like a New York Skyline "It vexes me, I'm terrible vexed".

I would love for there to be a Limited Edition Complete Riftwar Cycle Box Set
with all new covers and extras all signed by Ray and the artists etc.

Regards

Paul

Debt of bones by Terry Goodkind was a different size to, I felt sick when I was
at the register paying and I realized I was paying $30 for 150 pageish book not
the same size as the rest of the series.

Pete you're lucky,

Its £14.99 at the Waterstones near London Wall. And your right it's a very odd
size for a Hardback Novella and to be honest as much as I love reading Ray's
work I can't bring myself to spend £15 on such a small book. I think I'll wait
until it available on amazon and get it for £8.99

Regards

Paul

Jimmy and the Crawler is out now in the UK picked up a copy today
£12.99 at Waterstones.
One small compliant although it's a hard back its physical size isn't much
bigger that a normal paperback copy so it will look a little odd next to the
first three books in the series.

Anyway back to reading!!!

Pete
