Ray,

Would you ever push for a publisher to run a Limited Edition Collectors
Box Set of the Entire Rift War Cycle?

earth don't publishers realise that most readers want to purchase books
that are part of a series/realm/saga etc. that are all the same size and
the same cover style. I think I have 6 different sizes of book and 4
different cover styles across the Riftwar Cycle books that I started
collecting 12ish years ago. And as you can imagine lining them up side
by side in published order in silhouette look like a New York Skyline

Book design and production costs have little to do with collectors and a
great deal more to do with book sellers and casual buyers. It's an
entire art in and of itself and I can't pretend to understand it fully
even after 30 years in the business.

Just remember the market is fluid, which is why I've had dozens of
different artists over the years, as well as package designs, type
designs, page layouts, etc.

Best, R.E.F.
