I have been logging into #felix at irc.codehaus.org but if there is  
an official apache IRC server then perhaps we should use that. There  
must be plenty of IRC clients available with good notification  
mechanisms. I use Colloquy on the Mac which notifies me of new  
messages and more specifically any messages directed to me or with my  
name in the body.

But I do a lot of communication with other felix devs using ICQ, MSN  
and Skype.
