again, this is where my grasp of the medical falls short.

i don't know what research has been done re: prevalence of false positives, how/if they relate to the tests used, and other factors.

which, again, brings up the issue of whether a healthy, adult cat that's exposed to the virus (even if originally a false positive) is necessarily going to retain it if subsequently exposed....
