Leah,
I don't know where you're located, but if there is a Whole Foods Market near you, they carry a really good supply of Holistic remedies. I try to use the little "sugar" tablets instead of the "bead" type remedies, (sorry, I don't know enough about them to all them by their proper name). The "bead" type ones (in the blue cylinders), take a long time to melt in water. I haven't really had that much luck with using them, (I tried them for my IBD kitty), but I kind of squeezed the syringe tip gently between teeth and cheek and slowly let it accumulate. The remedies aren't supposed to be swallowed or chewed, they're supposed to melt under your tongue.

Hi, Leah,
Try to use the remedy called "Pustilla" - When my ginger (FeLV+) had a
fever, this worked like a miracle and also some others -
If the fever just started, you might want to try "aconite" first, but if
the ever is there more than a few days, aconite might not be the right
remedy -

You can get it at a health store - I usually put a several pallet in the
syringe and water, and dissolve it first, and then put it in her/his
mouth.

If Pustilla does not work - you also may want to try "surphur" -

Do you have an easy access to these remedies? If not, let me know. I can
ship you for you if you just give me an address.

Hideyo,

Mikey is not on any drugs, has had the loss of appetite for at least a
week, the downturn in energy for two weeks. His only other symptoms are
occasional sneezing and vomiting (that very recently). He is a high
energy, playful, affectionate cat. He prefers companionship, rather
than being alone.

For what it's worth, he is about a year and a half old.

Hi, Lean, I have to ask a couple of questions - Is he on any drugs right now? How long has he had fever now? Does he have any additional symptoms other than fever (not including less of appetite since it usually comes with high fever) - What type of personally doe your kitty have? Affectionate? Likes to be alone? (I know it's a weird question, but it matters in the remedy) -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Wolf, Leah R. Hideyo, I'd be interested in the homeopathic remedy for high fevers.

When my kitties get really high fever, sometimes it's over 106 and last for a few days - (which make them not want to eat naturally) - I have used some homeopathic remedy, and worked like a miracle for some, let me know if you are interested in or is on some things.

Dear Belinda,

Please add my little Mikey, who is sick with a 105 degree fever, isn't
eating or drinking, and whose usually high energy level is way down.

(I took him to the vet earlier this afternoon--wonderful man!)
